"Connecting people with God and others"

Jeff and Stacy Krohn are missionaries to Peru with SIM (Serving in Mission), USA.

During their first term in Abancay, Peru; the main focus of their ministry has been theological education, with some time devoted to evangelism and church planting. They would like to devote more time to church-planting in the future. In two small Bible Institutes Jeff has prepared, written, and taught a number of weeklong theological course. Stacey has been involved with women’s ministry and stays very busy taking care of three small children. Both have been involved in children’s ministry as well:

Our names are Ronald and Jennifer Neptune and we have three children, Stephan (July 14, 1997), Marisa (Feb. 23, 2000) and Jeison (Feb 9, 2003). We have been missionaries with Latin America Mission (LAM) – www.lam.org for over ten years.

Our mission agency, Latin America Mission, has over 87 years of experience and presence in the Latin World. L.A.M seeks to cooperate with God’s call to the Latin American Church, by working together under the direction of national leadership. Each missionary works in the context of a local grassroots ministry directed by national church outreaches and priorities. All L.A.M. missionaries promote evangelism and work under local grassroots ministries. Beyond these two foundations, L.A.M. is known principally for creative innovation in international ministry

We served for 7 ½ years as directors of a ministry to street children in Medellín, Colombia called Open Arms Foundation. We left this ministry in June of 2007 with a new call on our lives and after being on a service leave for one year in the US, we are planning to start ministering in the city of São Paulo, Brazil where there are also many social problems especially as it relates to children at risk. We will be working with a ministry that is called RENAS that is a social network of over 100 organizations that are currently ministering to street children, families and the socially marginalized of this country. Our desire is to be consultants to these organizations, facilitating them in the areas of programs, administration, technology and other important aspects to allow them to effectively minister to specific people groups that are in need of hearing of God’s abundant love and compassion and receive help in a holistic manner.

If you have any more questions of how you can personally become involved in our ministry please feel free to contact us at this e-mail:rjneptune@usa.net
